BentSpoke???s Big Day Off
On February 5, 2018 BentSpoke took unprecedented action in its 3 years of operation, we closed both sites on a day that wasn???t Christmas! We apologise for depriving you of a day of enjoying delicious BentSpoke beverages, but we had a good excuse.
We wanted to gather our hard-working team together for a staff and business development retreat to reward staff, have fun, strengthen bonds and celebrate our origin story. We saw this as an opportunity to view our progress over the last few years and reaffirm our values: community, local, proud, fun, creative and crafted.
Hosted by our friends out at Cuppacumbalong in Tharwa, BentSpoke staff enjoyed a day of games, discussion and activities providing our team with the opportunity to get to know their colleagues from across the business and understand the diverse roles that make up BentSpoke. It was a chance to gather feedback from our staff about ways we can make BentSpoke even better and plan a bright future direction together.
BentSpoke thanks community support for our success, our regulars are a part of the family. Dan Rayner from Highgate Lane Roasters come out in the morning with his purple, sparkly coffee machine to satiate our caffeine cravings, Farmer Trent provided a pig, and affectionately named Galaxy Mike joined us to set up a telescope to guide us in professional star gazing and opera singing.
With thanks for your patience we???re all set to take on the year ahead.
